About Pantheon

Fall 2004 was a turning point in school projects. Having acquired a camera, our crew was ready to undertake a first attempt at a revolutionary project. With no objective expectations, it was a success. We brought discountenance upon the average "Power-Point Presentation" and random improvisation. From the movie came concrete benefits, however minor. Soon enough, we made a second and third installment to our now expanding collection, acquiring vast and essential experience from Adobe Premiere. At last, we had a logo.

We called it Baseline Shift. The name was the result of an exhaustive evening of searching for a cool name and then stumbling upon a Premiere effect... I'm not sure what the shift meant, but baselines are extreme. Especially the slap baselines from the 70s which we unanimously agree is the coolest decade.)

We redefined film and saw a huge rise of popularity in movie making among our peers. There was large demand for a fourth and final (for the school year) production. We executed our renowned high budget James Bond flick like seasoned veterans. Included were two side projects which served as tests for newly acquired editing programs (such as AlamDV2) and camera angles. Our second logo was more appealing than the last.

Rhinosyringe was a brilliant idea and came, like all brilliant ideas, from Francois during math class. X+Y+Z=XYZ -> X: Surfers are the peak of coolness. Just look at the picture of Jeff Spicoli.

Y: The animal kingdom's rhinoceros is one of the most massive and powerful creatures on earth PLUS he has a link to Buddhist ideology AND he's a vegetarian. Lastly Z: people revere as well as fear the syringe because of it's contents and the deadly repercussions from it's use (ie heroin and aids, or flu vaccine and tiny little holes in your arm. You get the picture.) The end result? A suggestive surfer hippie buddhist ideological symbol from hell.

Summer brought Pantheon, a reform in thought and a dedication to excellence. With a new (and old) arsenal of programs, such as (in no particular order):
